An in-depth reflection on human rights, diversity and equal opportunity is needed now more than ever. Every day, at the global or local level, thousands of people participate in enriching debates on all of these issues and promoting social innovation adapted to the situation on the ground.

In line with these principles, Humanity In Action (HIA), an international organization created in New York in 1997, aims to raise awareness of young civic leaders to issues of human rights, diversity and equal opportunities with a special focus on the rights of minorities.

Established in France in 2005, Humanity In Action - France brings together French, European and American students and young professionals for summer programs (lectures, discussions and visits) regarding the promotion of human rights, minority/majority relations in Western democracies and the expression of diversity at local, national or international level.

Created in 2007 with the legal status of the French Law on Associations of 1901, HIA < Network France extends the actions developed by Humanity In Action in France. This association aims to provide a platform for reflection, collaboration and communication with the senior fellows (students, young professionals, researchers and activists) who participated in the HIA summer programs in Europe or the United States.

HIA < Network France is financially, ideologically and politically independent. Its mission is to stimulate and reinforce the senior fellow network around the ties stemming from the participation in HIA programs in Europe or the United States.

Thanks to the commitment and diversity of its active members, HIA < Network France supports and promotes reflections, conferences and activities regarding the promotion of human rights, diversity and the protection of minorities.
